Welcome a new day! The Morning Sun God Khepri, symbolized by the scarab, was believed to roll the disk of the sun across the heavens. This Egyptian style pendant is made of antiqued gold plate, the scarab has clear crystal eyes and 2 green crystals embedded in the amulet. From the legs hang a chain and an AB emerald green 6mm crystal. The matching handmade ear wires also have a 6mm green crystal. Feel the love of the green energy that activates the Heart Chakra!
Width is approx 1/2 inch and length is approx. 2 1/2 inches from the top of the ear wires to bottom of the chain dangle.
The matching necklace is made of antiqued gold plate chain with 6mm AB emerald crystal links and measures approximately 17 inches. It has a lobster clasp closure.

KHEPRI - Khepri is one of the important deities of Egyptian gods and identified as a form of Ra, the Sun God. Khepri was the god of creation, the movement of the sun, life and resurrection. The name Khepri also spelled as Khepera, Kheper, Chepri and Khepra, whose name literally means “He Who is Coming into Being”. The root word of ‘Khepri’ also means “to create” or “to transform” and also “scarab beetle”. The scarab is the symbol for rebirth.
EGYPTIANS: This collection begins with the ancient Egyptian Dynasties starting with the First Dynasty's Abydos Bracelets and ending with the reign of Cleopatra after Alexander the Great had conquered Egypt. We have added Victorian to the time period because there was an Egyptian Revival during the 19th century when tombs were discovered in Egypt.
